WOMEN'S HEALTH

Doctors and nursing staff provide Cervical Screening.

For most women aged 25 to 74, your first Cervical Screening Test is due two years after your last Pap test.
Regular screenings post 2017 are mostly due every five years due to more precise testing. Cervical Screening Tests can help prevent up to 90 per cent of the most common type of cervical cancer through screening for early changes which might become cancer.

The screenings will be sent to Laverty pathology, and the results usually available within 1-2 weeks.

A follow up appointment is required to receive all pathology results.
